"Jaguar E-Type Series 1" (1961) FHC
The Jaguar E-Type S1 Fixed Head Coupe (FHC) in British racing green represents the
pinnacle of British sports car engineering in the early 1960s. With its
enclosed roofline and aerodynamic bodywork, the FHC offered both beauty
and functionality. The 3.8-litre inline-six engine provided an
exhilarating 265bhp, propelling the car to 150mph with ease. The
E-Type's independent rear suspension and advanced handling made it as
much a driver's car as it was an object of desire.
The dark green colour accentuates the car's smooth flowing lines and unmistakable presence. Inside,
the interior is snug and luxurious with leather seats and polished wood
trim adding to its elegance. This version of the E-Type was equally at
home on the road as it was on the track, and its success in racing only
